General Information and Registration

Applications for the pageant year for both Miss Banks of the Wabash and Miss Crossroads to America are now OPEN. Please note that there will be a $100.00 registration fee for all Banks of the Wabash and Crossroads to America contestants if received before August 1, 2025. Paperwork received after August 1st will pay $125 entry fee.  Fees can be paid the day of the pageant itself.

There is a one time membership fee to Miss America that must be paid before competing in your FIRST local of the season. If you have already competed this season, you do not need to do this again. If it is your first local of the season, please pay the fee here.

**July 8, 2025 – Miss America has released updated age and eligibility guidelines for individuals competing as at-large, local, or state delegates in the lead-up to the 2026 national competition.**

Please use these forms for both Miss Crossroads to America and Miss Banks of the Wabash Miss and Teen competitions

  • The education level requirement which also determined whether candidates were eligible for either the Miss or MAOTeen programs has been removed with the increases in age.
  • Miss Crossroads to America candidates must reside in Vigo, Parke, Vermillion, Clay, Owen, or Sullivan counties or be currently enrolled students at Indiana State University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, St. Mary of the Woods College, or Ivy Tech Community College – Terre Haute Campus.  Miss Crossroads to America Teen contestants may reside in any part of the State of Indiana.
  • A qualifying resident of any county within the State of Indiana can compete at the Miss Banks of the Wabash or Teen competition.
  • Contestants selected as Miss Banks of the Wabash and Miss Crossroads to America will receive a scholarship, crown, pin, sash, and crown pin.
  • Contestants selected as Teen for Banks of the Wabash and Crossroads to America will receive a paid entry fee for the state competition, along with a crown, sash, and crown pin.
  • Miss candidates will compete in the following areas: Private Interview, On-stage Question, Talent, and Evening Wear.
  • Teen candidates will compete in the following areas: Interview, On-stage question,Talent, Evening Wear, and Active Wear.
  • The Miss Banks of the Wabash and Miss Crossroads to America competitions are held over the same weekend but on varying weekends during the competition season.
